Once upon a time, in a land so absurd, Where purple pineapples and talking socks were heard, Lived Professor Wumblethorp, a wizard quite klutzy, And Herring Walker, their apprentice so gutsy. In this land of wonders and magical glee, Herring turned teacups to turtles, oh me, oh my! Cushions became curtains, papers turned into seams, Chaos and laughter filled their whimsical dreams. One day, Herring spilled a potion so bright, On a toadstool it landed, causing a fright. The toadstool grew fast, with polka dots all around, Singing a jolly tune, making a joyful sound! Herring, all scared, climbed a teacup so high, Trotting away on a turtle, up in the sky. Through purple pineapple land they did roam, With socks lining up, dancing and singing, oh loam! Herring exclaimed, "A marvelous land so grand! But where are these tickleberries, I don't understand!" The Ant and the Grasshopper is a famous story which stresses on the moral " Time and Tide wait for none".    The Ant and the Grasshopper Once upon a time on a summer day A grasshopper lay singing, lively and gay. He saw an ant with a kernel of corn, And asked " Why are you wasting this good summer morn?" "Storing food for winter" panted the ant, " For when snow falls, nobody can" "Winter's far" said the hopper in his game, But the ant left calling out" You better do the same!" Winter came snow and all, And the grasshopper could no longer sand tall. While the ants enjoyed their frozen feast, While the hopper hadn't a grain in the least. The pandemic which we are facing right now has shown us the importance of various social workers including doctors, the scientists, the policemen, the cleaners etc. Instead of criticizing their work, we must do all we can to help them. I would like to give thanks to all those who are fulfilling their duty, and keeping us safe.   Thank You For the many people out there,  Working in this time of despair, Risking themselves for me and you, I convey my thanks to you. Thank you, Doctors & Nurses , for you work so hard, Against any disease you are our bodyguard. The sword of medicine in your hand you go off to war, We are in your debt forevermore. Freedom is something we think we have. But do we actually have it? NO! India has been declared independent from other countries but we are not independent from terrorism, pollution and all sorts of disease. Freedom-A question... Have we got freedom yet? People say we got freedom long ago, From other countries it may be true. Ringing in our ears, the word "FREEDOM" We don't have it and that's true!! "Is this what freedom is?" Where pollution is very large, Is this what freedom is? Where dry deserts are trying to barge. Till when will we be in these shackles? These shackles of inhumanity, Bearing pollution & disease. When will we begin to see. The truth in our thoughts, What our ancestors sought Goodwill in our future, Goodwill to the future!!! The Moon has always been a subject for great intrigue. It has aroused the curiosity of mankind ever since its very beginning. The moon is also mentioned in the myths and legends of all races, old and new. The Indians revered him as a god, Chandra. The Greeks called her Artemis and the Vikings worshiped him as  Mani. Humans began their expeditions to the moon from 1986. This curiosity towards our natural satellite soon broke out into a competition between nations - The Race To The Moon.    INDIA AND THE MOON In 1968, the race began, Apollo, Luna, Chandrayaan. We Indians sent our spacecrafts too, Chandrayaan I and II October 2008, the first one went, From Sriharikota, it was sent.
